Is Dawnna Dukes Paying Personal Debt Off With Campaign Funds?

And, after you click the headline above (and read that article) watch the VIDEO of Dukes vs. Costello from 2004, when I out her for trading her freeway toll vote for toll contracts for her sister.

I don't know who "Vince" over at the Capitol Annex is, but could it be, wonders be, that there exists an honest state employee working to expose this corruption?!

I have always wondered what happens to money left over in a candidates campaign fund after the campaign is over and lost. For example, it is my understand that Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn had huge amount of money left over in her lost gubernatorial bid. What happens to that money. Could not find much help on the Texas Ethics Commission website or public database. I guess Texas' former "chief fiscal officer and state treasurer" is laughing all the way to the bank.

You don't have to wonder.

Ask.

Hell, you pay and pay and pay for your government. Call the Texas Ethics Commission and ask to speak to an attorrny on staff.

I have many times.
