Ted Houghton, Texas Transportation Commissioner, was asked at one of these recent pulbic meetings if TTC 69 had anything to do with NAFTA. Houghton said no. The audience laughed. People ARE beginning to connect the dots.
There were 800 people at the Hemspead meeting.
800 !
I guess maybe people flooding these meetings and marches and rallies at the Capitol ARE a good way to raise hell about these matters.
The TTC and double tax toll roads ARE NOT PERRY's IDEA. Puppet Perry takes his order from the feds. What is so disconcerting is that the mindset and control inflicted by Perry's masters seems to have been installed in the entire Texas state government apparatus.
I totally agree with the comment posted above by anonymous. I live in East Texas, and I want to add my name to the list of East Texans who do NOT support this! This is the first leg of the NAFTA Superhighway, and people need to wake up and smell the pork! If we remain complacent we will surely fall into fascism, it is knocking at our doors...
