Why is this Texas Oil, Gas and Land Tycoon So Happy?

scary but one positive note- glad to see an oil tycoon invest in wind power.

Yeah, if was taking my families land, at least I'd feel good about him having some wind power.

Looks to me as though the land owner receives use of the land after the lines are buried...so as long as your house is not sitting on top of the area to be dug for the installation of the lines, you aren't too bad off after it is done. Consider also that you will be paid for allowing him to bury the lines, and the lines are actually promoting wind power. This decreases our country's dependence on foreign petroleum or carbon-dirty electric plants.

On the other hand, this could be an "operation manuel" for how to take Texan's land for your own private investment success story. He may be "onto something" that other rich, white-guy investors will want to try too. In that case...VERY BAD, VERY SCARY!
