The founder of TexasTollParty.com shines a light on the dark corners of special interest boondoggles: Double tax tolls and Trans Texas Corridor tax, toll & debt schemes.
I've received your request, and will forward to appropriate staff in APD.

Dear Cary Grace,
With the rights granted to me under the Texas Government Code, Chapter 552, I request these documents:
1) A full incident report of March 17th, 2006, 13:07, report # 2006-761976 involving Mayor Will Wynn assault on Luke A. Johnson (born 1/4/1980)
2) The officer's written portion of the incident report of March 17th, 2006, 13:07, report #2006-761976 involving Mayor Will Wynn assault on Luke A. Johnson.
3) 911 tape (cd preferred) and CAD report made by Luke A. Johnson on March 17th, 2006, 13:07, report #2006-761976 involving Mayor Will Wynn assault on Luke A. Johnson.
I just spoke with Sgt. Mark Spangler in the Integrity Crimes Unit, and he advised me that this case is still not concluded. Sgt. Spangler stated that just staffed this case with Assistant County Attorney Randy Leavitt this past Wednesday. The County Attorney's Office has not yet determined whether it will file charges - those discussions are on-going.
Thus, since the status is unchanged since my brief to the AG on June 1, 2006, the AG's ruling that allows the police department to withhold the requested information is still controlling; we are permitted to continue to rely on it and withhold the information.
Don't hesitate to contact me at 974-2509 or by email if you have any questions.
