In June 2005, the CAMPO Transportation Policy Board adopted a UPWP that outlines planning tasks CAMPO anticipates completing in the 2006 and 2007 fiscal years. From time to time, amendments to the adopted UPWP may be necessary to include or re-define work activities unanticipated when the UPWP is originally adopted. CAMPO is requesting that the UPWP be amended as follows:

1. To program remaining 2005 funds, CAMPO proposes to use
a. $100,000 for Congestion Monitoring under Task 304,
b. $100,000 Early Action Compact implementation under a new Task 204 and
c. $150,549 to Task 1 for future operational costs for the CAMPO office.
2. Remove $260,000 in STP-MM funds from the Congestion Monitoring and Early Action Compact programs currently in the UPWP. The STP MM funds are proposed to be returned to the current Call for Projects.
3. Add a Regional Freight Study as Subtask 506; TxDOT will fund the study from state funds.

4. Include additional duties under Task 400 to allow CAMPO staff to provide administrative support to the toll study currently underway in the region. No additional funds are being requested. Duties will be limited to assisting with securing meeting locations, preparing and distributing agendas and preparation of summaries of the meetings.
