Adam McManus demands apology from
Governor for giving Texans the finger!
Governor for giving Texans the finger!
Adam McManus' radio show demanded an apology tonight from the Governor for flipping "the bird" to a line of toll road protesters in San Antonio today. Gov. Rick Perry doesn't seem to be the church going nice guy who goes on Adam's show and purports himself to be a Christian when he panders for votes and then says "Adios Mo Fo" to a reporter and gives Texans the finger.
When Adam McManus gets a bee under his bonnet, he won't let it go. He called two witnesses, Dave Ramos and Byron Juen Wed. night and had them on the AIR clearly stating that they saw Governor Perry flip them off from his motorcade! That's when Adam went nuts and said he was going to call the Governor and demand an apology.

A Vote for Perry is a Shoe-in for Toll Taxes and other WMD's
Gov. Rick Perry is a guy with a dream. His biggest dream is the creation of the Trans-Texas [Toll] Corridor that he hopes will span from up north in Canada on down south through the United States and through Mexico, Central and South Americas. Perry has got his "lieutenants" Speaker Tom Craddick, Rep. Mike Krusee and others including TxDOT pressuring various Texas counties and cities to jump on the toll road bandwagon.
Does Perry care how it will affect Texas families? Of course not. When has the governor EVER cared about hard-working Texans and their families? The double taxation of Texas roadways may be a dream to the governor, but for most Texans it is an infinite tax nightmare for our future generations.
During the past five years since Perry assumed the position of almighty governor, Texas families have had nothing but cobwebs in their pocketbooks and wallets. The quality of life for most Texas families has plummeted considerably. To listen to the proud claims by Perry on his TV campaign advertising, you'd think all Texans had good jobs, children have a quality public education, health care is affordable, and funding for needed social programs has had a windfall. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. By the way, the definition of the word "truth" has a blank spot in the governor's dictionary.
The TRUTH is that under Rick "Special Interest" Perry's 5-year reign as governor more Texans have lost jobs, Texas has the highest rate of home foreclosures than ever in its history, state government has shirked its constitutional responsibility to finance public education, deregulating tuition costs of higher education caused two recent increases in those costs, home insurance premiums doubled overnight, property taxes sky-rocketed as high as 400-percent --- all in all, Perry's reign has been a dismal and oppressive reality for most Texas families.
Furthermore, Perry wasted more millions of tax dollars on regular and special legislative sessions than any previous governor. That's quite a record. Makes you wonder where we'd all be with another four years of Perry's lackluster "leadership" and special interest motivation.
If voters want to bend down and kiss their sweet tax dollars goodbye, then reelect Perry. If Texas families want to chisel-off their oppressive shackles, then let's vote for a REAL governor. The sooner we get rid of "Tricky Ricky", the quicker we'll get Texas back on-track and the better our chances will be of keeping some more of our hard-earned cash. Texas families deserve a better governor than Rick Perry.
