The founder of TexasTollParty.com shines a light on the dark corners of special interest boondoggles: Double tax tolls and Trans Texas Corridor tax, toll & debt schemes.
Folks, there are alot of cracks in the toll road armor. We just have to keep chipping away. We've got to keep informing taxpayers, city councilmen, county commissioners, legislators and even developers that toll roads will directly or indirectly be a hindrance to them personally, socially and in their course of business! Yes, we need to continually paint a clear picture of this debacle and how it will impact every single citizen in their daily lives. All of us are financially struggling and this debacle will steal more from the most impoverished than all the others.
If everyone adamantly and consitently refuses to drive on one of these forced "triple tax" toll roads, which they definitely SHOULD, then another these individuals will have another 30 or 40 minutes or more out of the daily commute drive time, for which the worker will not be reimbursed by his employer. This could mean even mean more dollars to the day care center since the kiddies will have to spend more time there each day.
Each person is obligated to fight this in every way possible. If this garbage goes fully forward. it will be absolute hell on earth for each citizen.
Each person must make the effort to vote their incumbent state representative and senator out of office (if they were in office as far back as 2003). This may well mean voting in a March primary against the incumbent even if that party primary is not one's regular party affiliation. Then each of us have to get to the polls in November and vote against the incumbent if they are still in the race. As crooked as our vote counting procedures are in all Texas counties, we each are obligated to make this effort to vote the skunks out.
Of course not ever driving on the triple tax toll roads is also a must and I say ostrasize and stigmatize every person who does ride on them. That is what you call "social controls". Our puppetmasters have tried over the decades to weaken the force of community and social controls, but there is still some power there and we must use it.
Folks, we have been screwed, blued and tattooed ! Raise a ruckus!
