This one is a no-brainer. There is no valid reason for TxDOT to pursue an agenda that slows down roads for political needs - not to mention the wasted time, gasoline / environmental impact, etc...

We should push for a state-wide law that requires TxDOT to ensure that traffic lights are "optimized" for the fastest traffic flow on every roadway - and be verified by an indpendent spot auditor and/or fast process to verify in the event that consumers / voters challenge the performance by TxDOT.
